Looking at the shortwave you would expect it to sing back at you. Inspired from the era of centre piece radiograms, the fabric covered door mimics a speaker. You almost expect to turn the dial with the wooden knobs on the drawers. The inspired metal grill works as door handles and the clever construction allows for a thin rounded edge. Stare at the floating base for a little long and you can certainly hear a few notes of music.
